Support for everyday legal issues faced by partner organisations
In terms of legal support related to the operation and management of an organisation, the AADH helps partner organisations in matters of law (tax, social, labor law) and internal organisation (activity merging, drafting of statutes ..)
Draft of a new organisation’s internal set of Rules and Regulations memorandum of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom L.L.P, September 29th 2009
Background One of the AADH’s partner organisations had an internal set of Rules and Regulations that was no longer adapted to the new applicable social rules. Furthermore, said organisation negotiated an agreement on the 35-hours workweek with their two employee delegates, and submitted it to the Labor administration who rejected it on the grounds that the organisation should first enter into a collective bargaining agreement.
Action The partner organisation sent an email to the AADH, who forwarded the request to its member law firms. The lawyers assisted the organisation in the drafting of a new Internal Set or Rules and Regulations, complying with the new applicable laws.
Result A new internal set of Rules and Regulations was drafted and submitted to the organisation. Furthermore, the lawyers continued to assist this partner in its litigation with the Departmental Direction of Labor (drafting letters, explaining the applicable procedures to the organisation).
