The AADH coordinates the provision of free and confidential legal services for NGOs, non-profit organisations and institutions dedicated to the protection of human rights, regardless of their national or international dimension (provided they were previously agreed by the Governing Board).

Lawyers of our member law firms, representing more than 15 000 pro bono lawyers, offer their expertise in any legal matters concerning those organizations, mainly as legal consultations or advice.

These attorneys, represented by 22 member law firms, commit themselves with the AADH on a pro bono basis. They are all around the world:

  • through French law firms or affiliates of international law firms based in France (Paris or elsewhere) working mainly in the area of business law
  • through French legal firms working mainly in the area of criminal law (French and international)
