AADH is solicited by recipient organisations – The partners – in four main situations:
Our partner organisations send an email to the AADH explaining their legal issue and, depending on its nature and its complexity, their request is :
1Sufficiently precise to be sent as it is to member law firms’ representatives, who will then forward it to their firm, or to their subsidiaries. The lawyer who wishes to handle the request will then contact us.
2 Still vague and the AADH will then discuss with the partner organisation to clarify the request, before sending it to member law firms.
3 Qualified as being sensitive (if there is a risk, for example, for a conflict of interest to arise between one of our member firms and the NGO); it is first sent to a committee (composed of the President, the Treasurer and a member lawyer) who will decide if the AADH can handle the request, and if so, the committee will preselect the lawyer who will be the only one to receive the request.
